4 Things to Consider When it is OK to Take a Sleep Tablet?

Having insomnia is very stressful and insomniacs will often feel that they are loosing their mind.   Having fallen into  this  category it is  perhaps  one of the toughest  problems one can face.
Not only does it cause  problems in ones personal and professional life  but  sleep deprivation  "mucks" up the brain function.
The amygdala  is a region in the brain which is  strongly associated with emotions such as fear  and agitation.  Sleep deprivation increases the activity here.    So it comes as no surprise,  after getting too little sleep the consequence is that one is more emotional and one is less able to control ones  expressions of anger or sadness.  Being delirious and hallucinating are two symptoms  which may also  arise after being without sleep for even as little as a few days.    This illustrates how important sleep is and how essential it is  to get a good nights sleep.

On the Road to Discovery and Recovery!
No matter what you read there is no single insomnia cure that you can go out and purchase.  But saying that there are some wonderful ways to cure insomnia that are available on the market .
To find your personal best insomnia cure you need to take the following into consideration.
*your age - older adults (age 60 and over)  are more frequently like to suffer from insomnia than any other age group.  Many older people with insomnia do not need to take sleep aids.
Older people would benefit more  from regular bedtimes, regular exercise,  and less napping during the day.   That afternoon nap  makes getting a good nights sleep even harder.
*gender. - Women are twice as likely to suffer from insomnia than men. Woman who have never had children sleep better, even in their  fifties and sixties, than women who had children.
*duration of the insomnia. You would need to consider whether the insomnia is transient or chronic.

My First S.O.S.
First port of call is that   you may consider looking at sleeping pills as the best insomnia cure.    As a short term option  these light sedatives may be the best insomnia cure because they are effective and fast acting, allowing  you a full nights sleep.

These drugs should not be used for more than a week or two otherwise you risk the chance of addiction.  They should only be used for occasional treatment of temporary sleep problems.   Sleeping tablets are strong medication and should be treated as such, be careful and follow all the instructions.    But please don't drink before you take them, which  seems to be the common thread amongst people with side effects.  Although  it might be consider as one of the best insomnia cures it  is not advisable as a long term solution.

Team work with you doctor is vital  in solving your problem.  After your doctor has ordered a full medical check it is your doctor that  is best qualified to match the appropriate medication  with your  insomnia problem  to bring about the best possible result.

You may need to try a few different anti-insomnia drugs before you "hit" upon the right one for you.   Insomnia can definitely be trying to deal with, but with the right help and products you can start getting the rest that you need and feeling better overall.
